The LRV hose burst valve is an essential safety protection component specially designed for hydraulic systems. Its primary function is to lock the suspended load immediately when the hydraulic hose ruptures unexpectedly, so as to prevent equipment falling, material tipping and other potential safety hazards. Under normal operating conditions, this valve allows free bidirectional fluid flow without interfering with the original operating performance of the entire hydraulic system. It features flexible parameter adjustment, reliable anti-corrosion treatment and complete technical specifications, making it a standard safety accessory for various hydraulic equipment equipped with lifting loads. With practical design and stable performance, it has been widely adopted in general industrial machinery and mobile construction equipment worldwide.
2. Working Principle & Core FunctionsNormal operation status: The valve stays fully open to permit bidirectional flow of hydraulic fluid. It will not change the pipeline layout or working logic of the hydraulic system, so the equipment can operate as usual without any negative impact.
Emergency protection status: In case of hose breakage, the flow rate inside the pipeline will change sharply. The internal plate will closely attach to the valve body instantly and cut off the oil outlet passage of the cylinder. This mechanism locks the load firmly in its original position and effectively eliminates safety accidents caused by sudden load drop.
Optional extended function: A calibrated orifice can be installed on the valve plate as an optional part. After the valve is fully closed, the orifice can control the flow velocity of remaining hydraulic fluid and realize slow and steady lowering of the load, which meets the special operation requirements of some working scenarios.
The actuation threshold of the valve is set by adjusting the opening gap marked as dimension “F”. Operators shall follow the guidance shown in the official technical data sheet during adjustment to ensure accurate parameters.
According to professional recommendations, the trigger flow should be set to 150% of the maximum flow of the local hydraulic system. This setting balances the normal operation of the system and the sensitivity of emergency protection.
Two adjustment options are available for customers. The valve can be pre-set to standard parameters in our factory before delivery, or adjusted on site by users according to actual working conditions, which brings great flexibility for different application environments.
All structural components of the LRV hose burst valve are processed with zinc plating on the surface. This mature surface treatment effectively resists corrosion caused by moisture, dust and other substances in industrial environments. The anti-rust and anti-corrosion capability greatly improves the durability of every part and extends the overall service life of the valve, whether used indoors or outdoors.

CRARTTERISTICHE TECNICHE/TECHNICAL CHARACTERISTICS
To protect the internal structure of the hose burst valve and avoid component jamming or abrasion caused by solid impurities, a filter must be installed in the hydraulic circuit. We strongly suggest adopting a filter with 15 μm filtration precision. Standard filtration maintenance can keep the valve operating stably for a long time and reduce unexpected failures.
