The 1JF Series Adapter features a straight-body configuration with a JIC male 74° cone connection on one end and an ORFS male O-ring face-seal connection on the other.
The JIC end is designed to mate with a compatible JIC female connection. The ORFS end incorporates an O-ring at the sealing face and is designed to mate with a compatible ORFS female flat-face connection. Correct matching of the connection type, thread size, and sealing interface is essential for proper installation.
The ORFS sealing interface uses the compression of an elastomeric O-ring between mating faces to establish the seal. The threads provide the mechanical connection, while the O-ring forms the sealing interface at the face. This differs from the cone-to-cone sealing arrangement used by the JIC end.
The series offers different E-end and F-end thread combinations, allowing users to select an adapter according to the connection specifications of their hydraulic components. Refer to the dimensional table for available part numbers, thread sizes, O-ring codes, and overall dimensions.
